as of tomorrow I am on a strict no-more-new-clothes regime

for a while, at least until I free up some space in my wardrobe (ugh, ebay, such a faff ....) pay off my credit card (not a massive amount on it, but that's not the point) and work out exactly what size I'm going to be in the wake of pregnancy.

So, if you see me on here wittering about the beauty and desirability of a completely superfluous item of clothing, please do me a favour and do the opposite of enabling (disabling doesn't sound quite right, have visions of MNers breaking my knee caps as I charge to the till holding aloft a cashmere cardigan)

But .. as a last hurrah - because it's not Monday yet and because I will need something bright and warm to wear on Christmas day, what say you to this?

I give you 24 hours....

at my dh - he is an enabler!!

after me saying that I had no hangers free and that my clothes were going to have to be whittled down, I've just discovered that he's put a load of new, empty hangers in my closet!

he is the clothes version of a feeder

IF it starts from tomorrow then you have til midnight to make sure there isn't anything that you desperately need!

I will give you a MN slap if I see you shopping LTEC. You cannot possibily wear all that you have...I am noticing that more and more with my forlorn items that I 'loved' and 'had to have' in the shop that hang limply in my wardrobe.

Have been rigorously going through wardrobe and shamefully found things with tags still on that have been hanging unworn for a long time.

Really must do some ebabying but am an ebay virgin and it all looks so dull but must focus on getting rid of stuff and making some money.

Honestly though I have virtual baskets of stuff all over the bloody internet.

I found a pink coat!!!

I am so excited

It's wool, not puffy, and the shade of pink is not exactly right, but it is lovely. It's a trapeeze shape, with a big funnel collar. I'd say most people would wear it belted (it has one) with the collar down, but I like it unbelted with the collar up! Might wear it with a leather belt sometimes.

It's in a very cool boutique, and fingers crossed it will still be there at the end of the month when I'll be able to afford it

See, persistance pays, I've been looking for a pink coat since July!
