Would you wear a black dress for a December wedding?

ive seen a really lovely black dress in Marks & Spencer and am thinking of buying it for a wedding in December. I thought I could jaz it up with red or silver shoes, bag etc. What do you think?

Yes. If people plan winter weddings then surely they can't complain if guest come dressed in wintry colours?

ooh snap! I'm going to a wedding in January and saw a dress in M&S I thought looked fab.

It was black, cost £45 (I think) and was a lovely, fitted sheath in quite sturdy material. Looks quite 60's/Audrey Hepburn/ Jackie O-ish iykwim.

I too was planning shiny accessories.

I haven't bought the dress but it's a definite maybe for now. I wore black to a wedding a few years ago and nobody batted an eye.
