What real men wear (or not)

Am I right in thinking that men should never wear Joules because they just look so prattish....?

Especially if it's a jumper with a scarf around the neck, while looking in the middle distance.

I've seen some Joules clothes in a shop in Kingston and they look totally unflattering besides other clothes, garrish rather than cheerful.
