. I have got £50 from mum and step dad for birthday, £10 from DB2 (he must be wanting something),£15 from DB1 and SIL and £10 from FIL and step MIL. £85 in total and DH has said he will make up teh difference up to £150.

I am tall 6ft, size 18 but need 18/20 cos i am very broad shouldered. Must be longish one me, at least covering bum!

I wouldn't go for double-breasted personally. It sounds as if I am a similar shape to you and I have always found that Debenhams stock coats that suit me (but am quite old so this may be too dull) -

Debenhams but depends whether you get a double chin (I do, this would be too high neck for me)

Debenhams taupe, again maybe not exciting but I love that, it would suit me really well.
