is it out of order to put down other peoples names on bodens reccomend a friend?

no - it's a sleezy way for boden to tout for business. i'd feel a bit dirty asking a friend to do this and they would then be innundated with junk from jonny. johnny?

unless they say yes - but what are they really going to say? few friends would refuse

when you say "people's" do you mean people you know, or anyone you can think of- ie neighbours etc?

I think it's fine to do either.They can unsubscribe if they want to.
