Ordinary women, know your fashion place

Every week this makes me needlessly angry. It's the DM's take on what "ordinary" women look like in designer dresses. The fact that just plonking a dress on a size 14 women (rather than choosing something that would suit her, as normal people do) is barking seems to pass them by.

Rant over (though I do find it quite funny so end up reading it every week).

God, what an awful feature. There are so many things wrong with it, I don't know where to start. Am especially laughing at the veneration of Tess Daley's style, half the time on Strictly she looks twice her age in wildly unflattering frocks.

Also, I think their model looks okay in the Chloe dress, whereas the Coast one is a hideous ageing glittery sack.

i don't think that dress does Tess any favours, to be fair...

i own (some) designerwear - i am normal. it looks great. but it was chosen for me....
