No, it does look hideous.

Are you in your mid twenties? Do you remember that people are supposed to wear fat trainers with them? I do!

flamesparrow · 11/06/2005 19:12

Hmmm.... I would say that it wouldn't be a good combination.

But then, I'm not so keen on the stilleto type boots with the conbat type trousers bagged over the top....

I have some cropped combats that I wear with very flat little trainers for the school walk. My dh HATES them

Mud · 11/06/2005 19:15

hermykne · 11/06/2005 19:15

Mud · 11/06/2005 19:18

flamesparrow · 11/06/2005 19:19

flamesparrow · 11/06/2005 19:30

Good to see you feel so strongly about that!

dinny · 11/06/2005 19:30

dunno what I did there, feel DESPERATELY strongly about it

Newbarnsleygirl · 11/06/2005 19:32

I nearly bought a pair of combats off ASOS the other day.

On the description it said something along the lines of "Be like Victoria Beckham and match these gorgeous combats with a pair of stillettos"

I did think about doing it but it is sooo 3 seasons ago.
Besides Kylie did it before VB.

hermykne · 11/06/2005 19:37

i wore the look the summer before last, so it is past it!
wearing my Gstar combat shorts with flip flops today and then i put on bronze mules to go out !

not label dropping before s.o says shut up hermykne

Smurfgirl · 12/06/2005 11:49

Combats should ONLY be worn with flat shoes.

Everything else is tacksville.

Blossomhill · 12/06/2005 11:55

I think they look great with the new sparkly indian flat type shoes. I haven't found a comfortable pair yet

Caribbeanqueen · 12/06/2005 12:07

Any description that said "Be like Victoria Beckham" would have me running the other way.
