You could get a French manicure. You can buy kits to do it in Boots or go somewhere to have it done. Rimmel sell a Whitening nail polish (it's a pinky White colour). I used to buy a brilliant one which was an ultra violet colour from Nailoid but they've stopped it.

Otherwise the pink Chanel or pale Opi are great IMO and colour a multiple of sins.

i have been using a kit - think it is boots no 7 - very nice

tho i am terrible at getting a neat thin white line

dh is even worse than me

just wondered why my nails seem yellow?

am i not eating enough of something?

dont really fancy sticking my nails in neat bleach

soak in lemon juice...or buy whitening powder from boots in the nail section

Ok , first of all get your arse onto the NAil Nibblers thread for support in times of need.

NEXt buy RIMMEL WHITENER, a sheer pinky white varnish that is brilliant at getting rid if yellow and lasts longer than the Barbara daly stuff from Tesco's.

There's a nail whitening pencil in M&S, you just "scribble" it under your nails. You have to keep it sharp though. Makes your nails look amazing.

sherby · 14/10/2009 19:33

ooo that nail whitening pencil sounds good

CybilLiberty · 14/10/2009 22:24

doesn't it just come off when you wash your hands?

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2009 09:47

theres a nail nibblers thread?

where, where, where

lemon juice and rimmel whitener

i painted my nails last night in collection 200 french pink 322 and they do look nice but still tinged yellow

It does a bit, but if you keep on with it you can varnish "down your nails" a bit - fun to pick off
