Could you wear this dress with anything other than knee boots?

I have found a dress a lot like this one except with short sleeves.

It would look great with thick tights and knee boots.

Is there any other way it would look good? Any other shoes?

Would it work with jeggings or skinny jeans?

Leggings and pumps?

Hmmm. Maybe.

I live in a hot country and was thinking it might be good as a dress for over Christmas back in UK. But I don't want to buy knee boots just for a Christmas break because I'll not use them when we get home. Then I was thinking could I wear it with bare legs and... ??? shoes... of some sort in warmer weather.

Jeans / leggings / pumps not great. Too hot.

Not convinced pumps would work. What sort of pumps?

I think I shall just have to forget it and find something different. Pity. It was very flattering on, and I liked it.

ankle boots and black opaques might work

Opaques and a chunky platform/heeled shoe would look good

But I think it would look BAD with bare legs. It's a winter dress.

Oh - short sleeves - have also just seen that it's jersey - looked like it was knitted to me. still quite wintry/autumnal though

It might be ok with gladiator sandally type things.

definitely not heels. not convinced about ballet pumps though.
