So what colour should i be sporting this autumn/winter on my toe nails?

Was thinking rouge noir type thing but any other suggestions welcome.

who will be seeing them? i tend to go for lighter in winter as socks can rub it off ends.

norksonmywitchesbroomstick · 12/10/2009 20:29

Are hidden in boots

traceybath · 12/10/2009 20:30

I always have painted toe nails - have ugly feet so need to 'pretty' them up

Next you'll be telling me you don't shave/wax legs as people don't see them

oops sorry

Ronaldinhio · 12/10/2009 20:36

old school rouge noir

traceybath · 12/10/2009 20:37

Graphite sounds nice - was also wondering about navy or an essie one called wicked.

I do love a bit of shallow musing of an evening.

I have a lovely turquoise on my toenails at the mo, not very autumnal I know but it is my favourite colour graphite grey is very in apparantly ScaryFucker as is purple and mettalics I think.

JamInMyWellies · 12/10/2009 20:40

I have a navy blue one at the mo but am thinking of changing to grey although DP thinks grey will clash with my corned beef skin.

ScaryFucker · 12/10/2009 20:41

hey listen, I am very in

fishie · 12/10/2009 20:43

i have just removed graphite and it leaves very unpleasant looking bits round the edges

i do like a nice bright blue in winter.

ScaryFucker · 12/10/2009 20:45

fishie, it can't be as bad as black

eww, that stains the skin and nails summat chronic

I bought a sort of metallic purple from Barry M and I love it, and on my toes I put a sort of glittery clear one over the top for added sparkle!

ScaryFucker · 12/10/2009 20:48

poisontoadstool is asking if grey is a bit morbid ????

cleaningsucks · 12/10/2009 20:49

dusky orange. sooo pretty.

sugardumpling · 12/10/2009 20:51

Morbid can be a good look IMO, I like black nails when i'm having a goth moment, love a bit of sparkle too, oooh might go and repaint mine now

ScaryFucker · 12/10/2009 20:53

Barry M is good

I wore the turquoise one all through summer

FritziGreenEyes · 12/10/2009 21:12

Try Chanel Diabolic.

Amandoh · 12/10/2009 21:22

I've got Chanel Diabolic on my toes and it's fab. It's been on for over a week now and not a single chip!

I'd wear it on my hands too if I could apply it myself.

200yearoldhorsehair · 12/10/2009 21:28

I always have purdy painted toenails.

For autumn, usually deep burgundy red.

sugardumpling · 12/10/2009 21:32

what colour is Diabolic?

Amandoh · 12/10/2009 21:56

I'm an idiot!

It's not Diabolic on my toes. It's Chanel Vendetta. It's a gorgeous blackcurrant colour. Darker and more purple than Rouge Noir.

You can have a look at the Chanel colours here.
