Help - does anybody know how to cornweave/corn-row hair? Or can point me to some idiot-proof instructions??

I can't seem to find anything! Perhaps it's called something else but if you know what I'm talking about and can help, then please do so....

I can do an ordinary plait, no problem....I just don't know how to cornweave/row! dd's hair always ends up in knots!
