Ages ago on ebay I came across a really grotty, battered pair of shoes, I was so curious I read the listing, where the seller described at great length how well worn and smelly they were. I was so intrigued I watched them and in the end, these shoes that looked fit for the bin sold for a ridiculous amount.

Then I read a thread about the same thing here. The mind boggles, but you know, give him some good photos and you could be on your way to Hermes

CakeandFineWine · 09/10/2009 21:06

haha, ask him how much further pictures are worth,
You might sell the shoes and make cash on some pictures of your quite frankly gorgeous legs without doing anything seedy

AngelinaJolly · 09/10/2009 21:13

BTW, did you manage to satisfy your pink-craving LTEC? I saw a lady wearing this last night and thought of you. It looked gorgeous on- much nicer than on the website. Fabric looked much softer and more flowy than I'd expect from needlecord, and BF friendly IMO... (how is the little prince?)

Re: AIBU thread- YANBU!

LetThemEatCake · 09/10/2009 21:40

oh my god.

someone on AIBu just alerted me to the fact that I have listed the shoes under men's shoes!!!!!!!!!

no wonder I am attracting weirdos.

Cake&Wine - you are very sweet, thank you

Angelina - still no joy on the pink!! but I like that A LOT. Thank you for thinking of me! Leon is grand , I have to agree with the people who say that going from 2->3 kids is easier than going from 1->2.

Although getting in and out of the car is slightly traumatic ...

where we you last night? anywhere nice

Ha ha- at risk of identifying myself I was at a wine & cheese evening at DD1's nursery
I imbibed a few home-measures whilst chatting to all the other lovely parents and didn't eat any cheese and was having such a lovely time that when I got on my bike to cycle home I realised I was a wee bit merry and rode into a hedge!

There you go that's a high glamour night out in Cambridge!

brokenspacebar · 09/10/2009 21:58

what about these tights too (not with the toast tunic which is lovely)

AngelinaJolly · 09/10/2009 21:59

just read men's shoes- tee hee!

LetThemEatCake · 10/10/2009 17:34

oooh yes, those tights lovely - thanks brokenspacebar!!

Angelina - I like your style!!
