hmmm....personally I wouldn't put a white cardi over a navy dress, especially in the winter

Where are you planning on wearing the dress - what occasion?

bodycolder · 06/10/2009 10:24

There is a little navy kimono shaped shrug/cardigan in Dorothy perkins which is nice

bodycolder · 06/10/2009 10:27

maybe

BunnyLebowski · 06/10/2009 10:50

Dress = gorgeous! Love it!

Shrug = cheap looking, looks saggy and ill fitting and horrible colour - would take away from your fab dress.

I think any of these would look better

lovely and sparkly -perfect for an Autumn/Winter do imo

sparkly again and a massive bargain!

this one could look nice

I love this one and think it would look great

or this which would look fab in a clashy way

Can you shoe us your shoes for the dress? Might be easier to find a shrug that way!

BunnyLebowski · 06/10/2009 11:11

this one would go with silver shoes. Much much better than your original one.

this one maybe if you need long sleeves

Disembodied3 · 06/10/2009 11:13

What do you think?

shopstyle is quite a useful tool for finding things

cremolatorium · 06/10/2009 11:19

I think that new look one is perfect.very on trend. I do think you would need to try it on with the dress to make sure the whole look is not too 'ruffled'
the colour is excellent though.

Disembodied3 · 06/10/2009 11:21

ill order it and return it to the shop if i dont like it,

thanks!

Can I ask you clever ladies whilst your here...
legs!

would nude tights be OK wiht peeptoe shoes?

OP posts:
cremolatorium · 06/10/2009 11:23

don't ask me - i am a fan of opaque coloured tights. I defer to everyone else on the subject of nude legs...

Disembodied3 · 06/10/2009 11:25

I don't think I could do colour with all the navy though?

OP posts:
notwavingjustironing · 06/10/2009 11:26

you can buy nude tights with no toes in so you get the sleek look on your legs without that horrible seam on the toes. I know M&S sell them, but I'm sure loads of other places do too.

Love the dress by the way.

traceybath · 06/10/2009 13:02

No to nude tights - could you fake tan and apply some nice moisturiser so they look glossy?

Perhaps a spray tan - so you're a nice colour all over??

Was also wondering if the new look shrug doesn't work would a wrap be ok? I'd be thinking of bright pink for contrast . . .
