I have been doing this for 5 days now, co washing every other day and plopping for 1/2 hour..

But.. I have a greasy scalp / roots but fluffy curls.

I am using Inecto Coconut Oil Conditioner and Boots pink curl creme (which I already use)

What am I doing wrong???

You either need a laxative or Immodium, I can't work out which.

Try rinsing the conditioner a bit more from your scalp and then reapplying some to the ends? (LOL ADragon)

Believe me I rinsed and rinsed and rinsed oh and rubbed and rubbed but still left with greasy scalp..

so I decided I needed to dye my hair and used a brand I always use but a different colour and within 5 mins my scalp was burning!!!!! I have never had that before, rinsed it straight off with loads of shampoo. Hope no damage has been done

So starting again... wonder if my conditioner needs to be 'lighter'??

I'm using a very light, everyday conditioner to wash roots,(original source tea tra and mint) then a deep conditioner for the lenghts, which seems to work.

I use Tresemme all over with a bit extra at the ends.

Would you not try easing yourself in with the occasional low-poo? There is a list of suitable curly girl friendly ones on the other thread. It's worked for me. Then extra conditioner on the fluffy ends.

I'm seconding Grandhighpoohba- Original source tea tree to wash with (wow that stuff is zingy!) and then I use Superdrug naturals coconut and sweet almond to condition with.

I thought I would never get that clean feeling without shampoo, you know, squeaky clean but am really pleasantly surprised that when I rinse out the conditioner my hair actually feels clean.

It's certainly the curliest it's been in a while too.
