I have a pair of black plain non-trainery trainers

I have Asics for running and some brown suede/leather trainers for wearing with jeans.

Yack indeed! I have a pair of Brooks for running, Nikes for the gym and plimsoll types for wearing with jeans.

maroon converse

Current favourites are maroon converse but I wear them all. Trainers are so comfy.

I can't get those sneakers up, they are obviously too hideous for my connection to comprehend.

I have Converse for wearing with jeans and Asics for running/going to the gym.

Adidas Adipro lite for running
White converse for other times.
Various demoted running shoes for mucky stuff.

I quite like them but would only pay £17 for them not £170!
My converse are nicer tho!
