Too long and v neck too small.
Tesco has best shape (shorter with nipped in waist) but dull colours. Where next eh?

Have you looked at Boden? I have a cashmere V neck from last year and it has become my favourite jumper by a mile. The cut/ proportions are good (longer V) and it has been machine washed many times and is still looking new. I'd say it might be worth "investing" .

M & S have a lovely selection of V necked cashmere jumpers in their flagship stores - £49 and lovely colours.

Primark? I had a top last year - cashmere - it was too short for me - might be the perfect length for you.

+J in Uniqlo have some deep V-neck cashmere tops but they might be long again - pricier too.

Boden one has weird neck, M&S looks dull, Jil Sander jobby doesn't seem any better than the rest.
They are all straight down in manner of school jumper, unlike Tesco one which went in and out.

TK Maxx had a fair bit of cashmere in last time I braved the experience.

I've never actually been in a Primark. Or a TKMax. Don't have 'em in my neck of woods.

Gap sell some of their line on ASOS - have never used though so can't rec as such.

It's not as clearcut as all that though. A lot of people really really want jobs in these factories. It's quite grim driving down highways lined with row upon row upon row of them and then watching thousnads of women stream out of them at 5:00 pm.

God that jumper thing is vile.

The whole eco-thing is so hard. My view is that, having done it here as well as abroad though, Primark's track record is now so bad that it just can't be forgiven, whatever the situation re: there being the demand for the jobs in Bangladesh etc. No shop that charges the price of fish and chips for a dress can be doing anything morally justifiable imho.

Do companies like gap give their workers more than primark? I'm never sure whether the extra that's paid doesn't go straight into the corporate pockets.

Hope you manage to find a jumper. I stroked the M&S ones in town today (failed to buy anything at all though) and they felt lovely - the pale grey one is v nice but the rest of the colours are a bit manky.

I agree with you seeyounext, I think karen millen, gap, primark, they all pay the machinists the same.
