Tried this on yesterday in the beigey colour - loved it but too itchy for me...and not sure about the green colour as it's actually quite a bright green in rl but if you like it, go for it!

Pinkjenny · 01/10/2009 16:23

It's nice but I always find knitted dresses really itchy. They make me all hot and bothered and I end up with a bright red neck where I scratch it.

Attractive.

BarbieLovesKen · 01/10/2009 16:30

like it. Dont love it though either if Im honest..

carriedababi · 01/10/2009 19:30

yeah not 100% sold on it, although might be alright for winter with tights and boots

OMG I wore knitted dresses the first time around (early 80s). Please tell me, what stops them now from bagging at the bottom when you sit down in them? Because that was always a problem before.

Oh and you have to wear a petticoat (not very glamorous) to stop them clinging.

pointydoug · 01/10/2009 19:39

I think it would soon be shapeless and bobbly and uncomfy

Ewe · 01/10/2009 19:41

I was just about to post saying exactly the same as pointydoug. Shapeless, not expensive enough to was well and nothing special.

cornsilk · 01/10/2009 19:42

I like it.

Amandoh · 01/10/2009 19:54

It looks a bit like a jumble sale find. Maybe it just doesn't photograph well and will look fantastic on though.

Amandoh · 01/10/2009 20:05

Much prefer this one or this one.

Lots of knitted dresses at Esprit to choose from.

carriedababi · 01/10/2009 20:16

an acrylic piece of knitwear from peacocks is going to look shit, though, after a oucple of washes, innit

giddykipper · 01/10/2009 20:18

This one's similar and a steal

Amandoh · 01/10/2009 20:32

"an acrylic piece of knitwear from peacocks is going to look shit, though, after a oucple of washes, innit"

Agreed. But at £14.00 it wouldn't be the end of the world. The Warehouse one in the OP already looks like it's spent a week on the floor of my teenaged son's bedroom. If you hand wash cheaper (wool-a-like) items and dry flat they usually turn out ok. Machine washing them is generally the big no no.

Choice of colours at New Look.

pointydoug · 01/10/2009 20:47

yes, true, no worse than the one at £50 I suppose

cornsilk · 01/10/2009 21:10

Get the green one carrie. 'tis nice.
