What is the best appliance to buy to get fabulous sexy bouncy curls with as little effort as possible

Hi

Am off to a wedding reception on Saturday night and would really like to do something different with my hair. It is about 3 inches past my shoulders and has soft layers in it and is very fine.

Would like some lovely bouncy modern looking curls but just not sure what to use, have tried my straightners but can't seem to get the hang of it. Have looked at Babyliss You curl and conical wands but all seem to get some very bad reviews.

Any suggestions?

Someone was strongly recommending velcro rollers on here a few months ago. I don't know if they would give the sort of curls that you're looking for though.

you need time to wander around with them in while they dry though, are not instant

It may well look flat after a couple of hours anyway if it's naturally straight. Can you go for a curly blow on Saturday? You keep (your own) velcro rollers in until you leave- all the rage with scousers from what I can tell: everyone under thirty spends all day Saturday with them in

LOL a the whole of Liverpool spending all day in rollers!!

I use heated rollers, Babylis I think, ever so easy to pop in and then leave them to work their magic. Just a squirt of hairspray and they last all day and the next if you are like me and cant be bothered to wash your hair every day!

Can't remember where I was? Swansea? Anyway a girl all dressed up for a night out (about 5ish in pm?) including velcro rollers.

Curly blows look great on the under-30s- think Cheryl Cole big hair. I have tried it myself, aged 35. Think Vera Lyn. You have been warned.

thanks for all the suggestions, Bitoffun think i will stay clear of the vera lynn look at 38 don't think i will pull it off.

might go for the heated rollers, think my sis-in-law has some. will have to try them out first I think.
