Have finally plucked up courage to get leggings, now what can I wear with them?

Am slim & average height but totally lack any style sense. Please could you give me some recommendations for tops, shoes etc which I could look out for.

Ballet pumps. Long jumpers, dresses and tunics.

I wear dresses (including jumper dresses) and tunics with mine. And ballet pumps.
Above the knee tunics are fine but I avoid showing any hint of bum or thigh!

A disguise?

But seriously as long as your top/dress is long enough and fairly fitted anything really.

Any top that is long enough to cover your bum and ballet pumps or boots.

I also wear shorts and short skirts with leggings, and when it gts colder willprobabky wear leg warmers with them too.
