Recommendations here please. I have lost mine, it was alright, but not brilliant, and now I'm back to using a really old one.

So what are you recommendations?

As recommended on MN. Blink mascara! Absolutely fab. Doesn't run and is even waterproof

chickatee · 29/09/2009 11:34

I like Max Factor Masterpiece. Goes on really well, but it runs out too quickly. I have Masterpiece Max too but I don't like it as much. I bought Lancome Hypnose because of reccommendations here, but I don't rate it at all.

hi

the spectra lash mascara from avon gives very damatic colour, i think, but i also like my max factor one and my new navy no 7 one, i have browny green eyes and it seems to make them pop, its great

hope that helps

CuntFuckerSmith · 29/09/2009 12:25

Max Factor Calorie 2000 is seriously good.

BunnyLebowski · 29/09/2009 12:30

I second she with the unmentionable name.

Max Factor 2000 calories is the one I always go back to after disappointing flirtations with the expensive mascaras. T'is fab.

fishie · 29/09/2009 12:33

telescopic

BadPoet · 29/09/2009 14:09

The Bourjois Clubbing one is good, but the only mascara in the world that doesn't clump on me is Maybelline Great Lash. I use waterproof.

LilRedWG · 29/09/2009 14:13

Blinc is definitely the best. Doesn't run, smudge or flake.

purplepeony · 29/09/2009 19:40

Lancome Hypnose time after time.

bebesequin · 29/09/2009 20:30

Ruby and Millie

CybilLiberty · 29/09/2009 20:35

Avon Supershock in Black.

bodeniites · 29/09/2009 20:46

Maybelline Colossal as recomended by Nigella on her website have to say its pretty good

Lulumama · 29/09/2009 20:48

bourjois liner effect one

max factor masterpiece

NOT the no7 extravagant one, it is awful , sticks my lashes together and makes them look clumpy and yet sparse. terrible IMO

traceybath · 29/09/2009 20:52

Dior Iconic - doesn't clump and just gives soft, long, glossy lashes.

Heathcliffscathy · 29/09/2009 20:54

yup been around the dior chanel world and returned to trusted and excellent max factor 2000 calorie. volume without clumps and a good separating brush.

monkeysmama · 29/09/2009 20:57

I love the YSL one and think it is well worth spending a bit extra to get a bit extra.

spicemonster · 29/09/2009 20:58

I am a massive fan of Maybelline mascaras. Currently using Define a Lash Volume mascara which I love but they have brought out a new vibrating mascara - Maybelline Pulse Perfection - which has a fabulous reviewhere. I am intending to try it out as soon as my current one dies a death.

Lulumama · 29/09/2009 21:29

i find teh YSL and chanel ones dry up within days rather than weeks which makes them poor value for money

ilovespagbol · 29/09/2009 23:08

Benefit bad gal, I think its called, totally fab!

happilyeverafter · 29/09/2009 23:29

I am using a Maybelline one in a green tube atm.

It's pretty decent, previously was using Diorshow which I think the maybelline is maginally better. Having tried numerous ones over the years I think my favourite is maybelline great lash (pink tube)
