Whats the collective view of these shoes

Or similar ones? I quite like them for themselves (yes I know, Next, but they're only for work) but not sure if the strap would be spectacularly unflattering by making your legs look shorter. I'm thinking to go with a pencil skirt suit? And I do need something reasonable comfy.

I'm not a collective, but, meh. You need loooong slim legs to get away with straps IMHO.

I think the straps are okay as they are further down the shoe rather than being ankle straps, so even non-models can get away with them.

heel is horrible. that style of shoes (of which i am a fan) are ten a penny these days, you must be able to find nicer/cheaper ones. i'm sure clarks had a whole rack of them outside on sale last time i walked past.

They're a wee bit blah. I agree with mwff- there are squillions of Mary Janes around atm and I reckon you can find nicer ones than those. Sorry.

How about these? Maybe the heel is too low. I looked at them and they looked better in real life (I am on my feet all day so only look at lower heels)

Marks have some (whisper) footglove mary JAnes if you want comfort.

They are nice and looks quite comfy to wear...good choice...

i was all prepared to dismiss them as bland because Next stuff is pretty bland and...

wasn't completely disappointed. they're nice. but for £45, one could do better?

i got the berry coloured ones and they look good, make your legs look slim cos of the heel and they are sooooo comfy - i love mine.
