These boots were a fantastic sale bargain at the end of last year. Problem is I wear jeans all the time, just not a skirt gal but these deserve being shown. I love them. I haven't got a fantastic figure or legs but at 5'9 and size 14 it's acceptable I am also 33 so no crotch skimming styles. I am a SAHM so need something relatively hard wearing but my DH hates denim skirts. I tried to get a GAP cord monroe skirt but everywhere seems sold out in my size.

Suggestions please...

Cybil I think this is a) a whole new thread and b) something that we can agree to disagree on. Clothes are exactly that - coverings to keep us warm (and dry!). Humans like to compete and approbation from other humans which explains the fashion industry, just look at all the threads here about do you like these shoes/handbags/etc. You say it's about how they make you feel but what do clothes DO that make you feel good about yourself if it isn't approval from other people about you looking good?
I wouldn't wear something for my DH that I didn't feel comfortable in but I would stop wearing something he didn't like if there are a multitude of alternatives IYSWIM.

On the skinny jeans/legging note PERSONALLY (and a lot of stylists would disagree with me but hey I don't think horizontal stripes are fattening either) I think a tunic or dress over skinny jeans or legging is you are a little thunderous of thigh is not a good look.

thanks for all your posts.
