I wanted brown, across body, pockets, practical but still vaguely pretty. Didn't want all leather.

Yes...it is expensive, that's true. So that's a unanimous 'no' then! I like the practicality more than anything, although now I look again it's not very deep either, at only 4cm...it needs to hold nappies as well as everything else!!

I haven't seen a nice leather bag that goes across body and is a decent size (35cm across at least). Guess I'll keep looking; thanks for replies!

No, sorry I don't like it either. I agree with the others. Think you should go for a classic leather one. Why don't you ask for some vouchers for Christmas and get one that'll last you years.

I got a massive leather satchel from Oasis a couple of years ago and they often have similar ones in.

It is across the body, buttery soft leather and has a huge opening, I love it.

Was about £60.
