I always wear black opaques with my purple suede stillettos so I would say go for it

I do wear a purple scarf though to match it up when I'm wearing totally black except my shoes otherwise it does look a bit got dressed in the dark

Sounds fine for cheering up what would otherwise be black from head to toe but they'll draw the eye downwards so if your legs aren't your best feature stick to the less eye catching black.
