Ankle Skimmers that aren't Ankle Flappers

Anyone seen any good, smartish ones?

Tried Boden - terrible fit and too wide round the hem - looked like I was just wearing trousers that were too short.

I'm looking for something Audrey Hepburnish!

Try Zara's cropped trousers. I am 5'6" and they are the perfect length - ie proper ankle skimmers rather than cropped trousers, iyswim - and slim cut rather than flappy

I looked in there on Saturday but they didn't have any, apart from some weird stretchy ones like thick leggings. Did you get them recently?

I'm 5'9 so they may be cropped on me, but I do love their trousers except for the sizing!

Thanks

think they call them ciggarette pants( may be wrong). I got some fom zara too

gap?

ADifferentMe · 26/09/2009 22:44

Yes, I'd call them cigarette pants but thought that was cos I'm old! I'm convinced they change the names of things every time they bring something out so you think you didn't wear them the first time round! eg drainpipes = skinnies, sloppy joe = boyfriend jumper.

I tried Gap but their's were also too baggy below the knee.

Got a great pair from Topshop which are a fab length on me and don't flap about. They have a zip on the back.

Try slim leg trews from marks/dorothy perkins in short length
