Carvela boots - nice or impratical (or both!)

Do you like these?

I have a lovely pair of knee high flat black boots from last year but they're on their last legs and they aren't making them anymore (have investigated)

I can see why the Fly boots have been so popular but I prefer a smarter boot and have thin calves. I tried Duo a year or two ago and was disappointed with the quality. I want something black, reasonably smart, flat(ish), simple and nice.

I quite like these for over skinnies, leggings and with winter dresses but am not sure if the suede makes them really impractical.

If we go down practical route, we might as well all wear crocs and boiler suits eh?

I'd choose them over fly anyday, if I could afford them

i have a pair of carvela boots that are about 8 years old, they last v. well and nice and neat about the calf.

what is going on on the leg part of the boots? some sort of fabric?

I think it's suede. I like them. Would prefer all leather but I've been looking for similar for weeks & have only found these.
