By "long" i mean ones that come to about the knee, or just above.

I have had a quick google but i'm not really coming up with much, except for maybe the mid-thigh ones but i'm deffo not buying those, with my chunky thighs!

I'm after a pair probably in about a size 24.

Thanx in advance!

Oh sorry - can't get the link to work

Go to Esprit UK

Go to Women

Then go to Sports

RGPargy · 24/09/2009 11:20

They would be perfect but they only go up to a size 18

Oh sorry Pargy - didn't read your op properly

will have a look around

Countingthegreyhairs · 24/09/2009 17:38

These go up to size 22

these go up to 28 but are they too long leg-wise?

RGPargy · 25/09/2009 10:07

Thanx Counting! I also found those ones on the M&S website which would probably fit but i do think that the ones on the Curvety website would be too long. I get so hot when i'm exercising and sometimes it feels like my legs are burning up! haha!

I turn bright tomato red when I'm exercising so I understand the problem

Hope you find 'em

Will keep procrastinating at work keep looking in my spare moments!!

Bumping for you!

RGPargy · 25/09/2009 14:33

Thanx Count!! I go beetroot coloured too. Nightmare!

I used to have a fabby pair of long work out shorts years and years ago when i was thin and a gym addict but one day i stupidly left them in the locker and that was that - gone forever!

Are these any good? here

(I find the US websites are generally better for the plus-sized, and most will mail to the UK, though I haven't tried this one.)

Countingthegreyhairs · 25/09/2009 23:04

No I didn't hold out much hope for them really ...

Bumping for you !

RGPargy · 26/09/2009 00:10

just teasing Pargy

There's a real gap in the market isn't there? Disgraceful!

Good luck with your exercising

RGPargy · 28/09/2009 22:12

hehe thanx Counting! It's so annoying how they think that big people dont exercise. It's probably more a case of not being able to find the right gear to do any exercise!!!

Yes seems incredibly strange that you have to source your trews from the USA ... ridiculous!!!!

Anyway, good luck with the new regime (I'm going to try and start power walking regularly again in October). Started three times before and stopped. Going to try and make it stick this time!!

RGPargy · 30/09/2009 19:53

Thanx Counting - and good luck with yours!!!
