Reading glasses - how does one wear them stylishly?

Have just succumbed to buying some reading glasses off the market.

I can still see the number on a bus five miles away, but can't read a recipe, a price, or anything up close really, especially in poor light.

Now, are there any less grannytastic reading glasses? Because mine make me look like the wolf in Red Riding Hood. And do (ahem) still youngish (ie 40s) people wear them on a chain round their neck?

If you need to use glasses that much, go to an optician and have your eyes tested, you need proper prescription lenses. Most opticians, particularly independant ones IME have a selection of lovely frames, so you can choose a pair in a shape and colour that compliments your face.
