Help hair advice!

I am going to away on holiday this week and need my hair coloured.Every salon I have tried is full.I need to do it myself now and want to make a good job of it,whats the best home hair colour you can possibly think of??I usually have a semi with just a few highlights..Any advice tips would be most appreciated.

bumping for you.. I use Nice and Easy semi permanent, it is the only one I can get to cover my greys nicely.

Oh thank you Miss Melly,I actually thought they had nice shades today when I checked out boots,need to buy and do by tomorrow.I have wedding to go to and am bridesmaid so dont want to mess it up!

go lighter, not darker.
