Finally, I am down to two pairs of boots to decide between! These will be for casual wear (am ordering another pair for smart ). I will be mainly wearing them with dresses and skirts, so which shall it be?

Bern

or

Pavia

Think I prefer the shape of the second but to be honest they are both fine. Why be embarassed about buying another pair tho'. 'Tis your money to spend as you like!

ArizonaBarker · 20/09/2009 12:33

Difficult.

I prefer the style of the first ones but like knee-high better than mid-calf.

What length skirts do you usually wear?

Ivykaty44 · 20/09/2009 12:34

2nd pair

Amandoh · 20/09/2009 12:34

I really like the second pair. The first pair is a little dull.

mosschops30 · 20/09/2009 12:41

If Im honest, for the cost of them the pictures make them look very cheap and plastic-y (like something youd get in shoe-zone or similar).
Sorry

But the 2nd pair are better looking in general

noddyholder · 20/09/2009 12:54

2nd pair

Clure · 20/09/2009 13:12

I like the 2nd pair, not keen on the length of 1st pair- they possibly a bit "wellyish"?

NoahDear · 20/09/2009 13:15

pavia

CybilLiberty · 20/09/2009 13:15

Second look more expensive . I will be soon investing in a pair of Duos so will be interestd to see what you think. Are you skinny or chunky of calf? (I am obsessed)

CybilLiberty · 20/09/2009 13:16

Bern would look better in tan

NoahDear · 20/09/2009 13:17

CybilLiberty · 20/09/2009 13:18

NoahDear · 20/09/2009 13:18

no i didnt.
lol at shaft

CybilLiberty · 20/09/2009 13:20

I would link but there's so many friggin boot trheads I've lost the plot

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 20/09/2009 14:36

I'm leaning towards the 2nd pair as well.

Cybil I'm chunky of calf.

at Shoe Zone!

Will the knee highs look ok with skirts on and just below the knee? I don't wear skirts above the knee as I don't like my knees!

I really want a mid-calf pair, but you are all right the the Bern are really boring. I need a pair like the Pavia in a shorter length, and in a boot for a large calf. I do not think that such a boot exists.

Alibaba - I have a 46cm calf and just bought these. Although they don't look like the duo ones they are calf length.

I was also looking at these as well.

Those Henny James are lovely but they haven't got them in my size . I think I will e-mail and see if they have got anymore coming in.

PinkTulips · 20/09/2009 15:32

not mad on either tbh but the second pair are definitely much better than the first

cornsillk · 20/09/2009 15:35
