I have a pair of Kickers ballet pumps that are lovely but still a little tight after wearing a few times - any tips?

I had some sretched at a shoe repair place...cobblers?

Takes a few days.

You can also get stuff to spray on before you wear them that is supposed to stretch.

Not convinced it works though but cheap to buy if you want to give it a try.

Got mine from John Lewis

wear them round the house with really thick socks on?

pippel · 19/09/2009 08:04

I have really wide feet so I always have this proble since I wont wear old ladies shoes

I do what allaboutme suggests or I just put up with the pain for a couple off weeks which I dont recomend it hurts!

Why do shops think every one with wide feet is 60?

Put on two pairs of socks and the shoes, blast them with a hot hair dryer and do lots of flexing!

OOh, lots of good suggestions - maybe I will have to try the cobbler - we have an olde fashioned one round the corner! Thanks!

My mate got her dh to stagger around wearing them indoors

bigTillyMint · 20/09/2009 19:35

Were they high heels?

DH wouldn't be able to squeeze his fat hoofs into these shoes!

i put clear medical tape over the areas that chafe to prevent blisters until they stretch on their own. not scientific but cheap as chips and works!
