Those breastfeeding tops with slits in the side are weird aren't they?

I normally wear dresses over leggings in the winter and have a few shirt dresses and some button down ones for this winter. Proper nursing dresses are much more discrete as I am unable to feed without completely 'wapping it out'. Saw this dress on Ebay which I quite like, but why are the slits at the side? Are my tits on my sides? No.

Am I missing something?

I must be missing how this is meant to be discreet...The dark fabric especially must make them pop like a belisha beacon

I would find that dress extremely difficult to breastfeed in! I have also had problems with the mothercare nursing vests as I find the slits too small to work properly.

was hilarious-I used to walk around the house with my enormous bosoms hanging out...oh how we larfed

never actually fed in it though

side slits in an undelayer are fine ime, like the top and bottom ones here

I'm really struggling with BF dresses / tops too. Found a cheap wrap t shirt that I can put a vest underneath. A DIY top.

I can't wear my skinny jeans yet as they are too painful around c section scar tissue so have to wear leggings and dresses.

I'd never considered a b/f dress before, but won vouchers and quite like the look of it. Not sure if I will end up with huge squished in norks though as by the time it fits on the norks, it could be too big everywhere else or vice versa

Suwoo - the second one is totally gorgeous. I would be weak to resist it if it had long sleeves. As it is though it is more a summer item i fear.

I've stopped looking at nursing tops as end up feeling more exposed in them. I'm going for wrap tops / dresses with a vest underneath or slouchy cardigans with easy access.

I liked the stripey one but agree with you on the mamaway one that they should have just left the white bit out.
