My hair is long-ish, thick (well, fine, but loads of it) and dead straight. I need help with coming up with more imaginative ways to wear it, especially up do's. i have searched for 'tutorials' on You Tube, but it's a minefield. I have a long side fringe and a few layers at the front, but it's mostly one lenght.

At the moment I wear it in a plain, low ponytail with the fringe down or pinned back in a kind of quiff like this. I also twist the front and pin it back a bit like this but straight.

I'm so bored and need more ideas. Advice?

I was flicking through some hair mags at the hairdressers this morning and there was a big article on incorporating plaits.

eg.Jennifer Aniston
