Still on the search for new boots

I have a 20% off voucher from Clarks that runs out next week and I would like flat, black, knee-high boots. I can't decide between these two,

these
or
these

Whilst I appreciate you many not like either, can you choose (in that case) the lesser of the two evils

Thanks in advance

Top ones are the nicest.

The bottom ones are a bit welly like and don't look worth £100.

NellieTheEllie · 15/09/2009 14:02

exactly what ThePhantomPlopper said.

squeaver · 15/09/2009 14:03

First ones, definitely. Second pair = granny boots.

sweethoney · 15/09/2009 14:03

Top ones look smarter, but could be used in the day and evening.
Bottom ones are ok, but don't look as stylish as the top ones.
Happy shopping

have you seen the office fly thread? £40 today.

shootfromthehip · 15/09/2009 14:04

Ooh, I thought the bottom pair were a bit funky/ eccentric! Granny wasn't really the look I was going for

only got 6 and 7 left now though fly boots

shootfromthehip · 15/09/2009 14:15

lovely- just had a look to discover the same thing. I really want the mol boots rather than the clarks ones but after bidding on several pairs that I didn't get, I gave up and started a new search. Just can't afford the £125. But it's those ones I really, really want

I'm an 8- do you think I could chop my toes off?

The top pair are lovely.

yama · 15/09/2009 15:05

Top pair.

LovelyDear · 15/09/2009 18:54

have you got a tk maxx near you? ive just been and they are awash with lovely boots, all at around £40.

LovelyDear · 15/09/2009 18:56

toe-removal would be ott, i think...

in tk maxx i ended up buying dd 2 pairs of boots, one for school, totally influenced by the fact that it was pissing down (and has been all day). i bet it's sunny tomorrow

shootfromthehip · 15/09/2009 19:12

lovely, no TKMaxx near us sadly- think I'm going to go with the first pair but have told everyone I know who is a size 7 to buy the Fly London ones!
