Its quite long now but I just have it tied in a pony constantly.

Sister is here, Ive been feeling crap / going through crap lately and shes brought a hair dye and her hairdressers bag (shes on her 3rd yr of course)

Shall I?

And any specific style suggestions?

sometimes a new haircut can do a world of good. I would go for it personally.
I would say that if you trust you sister with your hair let her cut it but decide first on what you want from the new haircut so if you need it to be easy to maintain, able to pull it back etc then it needs to be taken into account when deciding on a style.

dont do it i have thought about this for ages keep eying up people with super shiny bobs but i would hate to have to go back and start all over again if i hated it the dye should make your hair a lot healthier looking and give you a boost

saramoon · 14/09/2009 17:31

I have been thinking of this for ages too. I have been growing my hair for ages out of a bob and it is now past my shoulders. But, I NEVER wear it down, ever, i twist it up every day and i am getting so fed up of it. Want to go short but am too scared.

Disenchanted3 · 14/09/2009 17:32

Yes do it, a ponytail isn't a hairsytle.

Good luck

Yes!

Against all recommendations I cut of my long blonde curly hair, and now I have a short wavy bob and I have never felt foxier. And my hair was my thing... Couldnt be happier with it.

leothelioness · 14/09/2009 19:54

yes please do before and after pics disenchanted.
I chopped a whole load of hair off last year and loved it. I usually grow my hair out till I am putting it up all the time and then get it cut into a short style and it makes a lovely change.

GrendelsMum · 17/09/2009 22:55

Yes, have it bobbed with a fringe and then die it a funky colour the next month. I did this and it was so, so much better.

I agree, a ponytail is not a style. Can't wait for pictures.

needanothername · 17/09/2009 23:24

Have you done it? Hope so!

angrypixie · 21/09/2009 22:26
