that linen petal skirt would be an almighty pain to iron

Georgimama · 12/09/2009 10:17

Not cut to hang on chubby people? WTF?

As the mannequin is dimensioned to, I don't know, size 6? size 8? and looks like a barge in that dress bottom left of my link, I don't think they're cut for anyone.

I have a Japanese friend who wears dresses like that grey cashmere one all the time and she looks fabulous in them.

ZZZenAgain · 12/09/2009 10:18

would look bad on me, really bad

scottishmummy · 12/09/2009 10:19

some folk can look great in anything though i think grey adds deathly pallor and reminds me of polyester school skirts

brimfull · 12/09/2009 10:21

I like grey-suits moi

YLB stuff is dreary for the average woman-all that stuff is designed for 6' model 50somethign

I think I saw the Marks sweater dress when out with SIL the other week. We thought it looked OK, although the round neck is quite high and wouldn't be great for me (large norks)

paddingtonbear1 · 12/09/2009 10:24

I don't think any of the YLB stuff would look good on me - 5ft, size 12/14 - deffo not aimed at my size or shape!

NoahAmin · 12/09/2009 10:24

large norks doom

dexter73 · 12/09/2009 10:26

All the dresses and tops are very high necked - does YLB have lots of lovebites she needs to keep covered?

NoahAmin · 12/09/2009 10:26
