what about a Pandora bracelet? www.johngreeddesign.co.uk/index.php?s_cat_id=&s_manufacture_id=9&s_men_women=&This is a cool site although I've not ordered from it they come in gold (pricey) or silver or a mix of both. Can add charms to them. Don't know where you are in the country but most good jewellers stock them. Failing that what about Links of London (they're national too)

CoffeeCrazedMama · 11/09/2009 09:38

The Links 'sweetie' bracelet, which is very popular with my dd1 and her friends (same age) comes in small, medium or large. I bought my dd the medium, which fits neatly, but dd2 who was with me noticed that the small is really quite tiny. They are in Sloane Square and Westfields. Think also Jermyn St. (My dh is cufflink addict, hence my extensive knowledge ).

Tiffanys. Lots of beautiful, classic and good quality stuff.

Old Bond St.

i think she's after something plain but will shoe her the pandora and sweetie ones-thanks

tiffanys-aren't you just paying for the name-or is it worth it?

I bought a Links of London 'sweetie' bracelet yesterday for my daughters 16th birthday, it is lovely , i got the medium as the small was very small, they are £110 and you can also buy charms to attach to it. They have an 18th silver charm which was very nice, the charms where between £35-£45 i think.

loads of nice ones on tiffany site

this is the sort of thing she likes

Thomas Sabo charm bracelets are nice- they are online of course, but do have stores in big cities.

brimfull · 11/09/2009 09:56

she's not keen on charm bracelets

I had this bracelet for a birthday and really love it, it works well as a dressy piece and had the matching necklace too.
