hadn't looked at Duo ... quite like these but they border on being wellingtonesque

I've had long boots with no zip before and they were a nightmare to get on, had to sit down and heave. Much easier to be able to slip your foot in then zip up imo.

I just got some Hush Puppies called 'Plush' in green from TKMaxx. They were half price so I snapped them up but the calf is HUGE, in fact the whole boot is huge.

They are an 8 if anyone wants them! Otherwise will try to wear over jeans...

Don't know if amazon still do them, I think they are last year or similar.

OP I think they might fit you if you could put up with green! I'm a normal 8 and they are spacious.

Are you a 42 or 41 size 8 LTEC? I too am looking for the elusive dark brown boot but am a size 42. Usually end up with something boring from Next just because they fit

HBC, thanks so much for the kind offer but I'm really after one dark brown and one black boot ... have ended up ordering one of each of the Faith Manfreds (think I am okay with the no zip thing) and will see how they are ... just wanted to take adv of the 20% off while it lasted ... if no good, will send back and check out Duo I guess ... any thoughts on those Duo ones (above) that I thought might look a bit welly-ish?

Hey those of us with big feet rejoice! Its such a bugger trying to find shoes isn't it. Have you tried Faith shoes before - I am also a wide fit and have found them a bit on the narrow side.

New Look have started doing 42 but nothing there that takes my fancy. There are a couple of pairs of flats which are OK.

Will have a search again tonight and see if I can find anything. I may email Fly and tell them of the gap in the market for those of us with larger feet

LTEC I really like the look of the malmo, even thinking about getting them for me (it is them or the fly london mol lol)

I think if they were a shiny leather, then they may look wellish. But, the nubuck should hopefully mean a non-welly look Have not seem them in RL though.

Now what do you think about this one? esprit Free delivery and it says that size 8 is 42. Or these chestnut
