I have some purple ones from a sale a couple of years ago. I love them, very comfortable and hard-wearing. I'm not a fashonista though .

I have the pewter ones. They are comfortable, but a little long. I like them. The only little snag is that the toe caps are white suede which is difficult to clean.

bellissima · 10/09/2009 09:20

I find keds are the only comfortable plimmies out there.

PestoSurfMonster · 10/09/2009 09:22

Fifty quid for plimsolls !!!!

Are you mad??????????

missmelly · 10/09/2009 09:34

Mr Boden is having a right laugh isnt he? £50 for those....

chattermouse · 10/09/2009 10:51

I love the spotty ones but would only consider them on the sale. They are very expensive for what they are. Plus as pointed out, one walk through the park in winter and they will be spoiled, hence i would not pay full price of £50.

nicolamumof3 · 10/09/2009 11:01

well the pewter ones are leather? they are cheaper than lots of trainers? plus i have £10 voucher and £10 off £30 spend so i'd pay £29 which is ok i think for them!!

£29 is more like it . They are lovely! Which colourway will you go for?

nicolamumof3 · 10/09/2009 12:03

i like the pewter and the green...and the dalmation, what do you think?

I like the dalmation and the lepard spot prints best. They would look great peeping out from under your jeans! The only concern would be would they stay clean/how do you clean them. You could always save them for next summer though, should do well as fair weather shoes .

MadameCastafiore · 10/09/2009 19:52

I have 4 pairs and love them - they are so versatile with little dresses or skinny jeans - I have green, pewter, beige and silver!

happilyeverafter · 10/09/2009 22:45

I haven't got any but thanks for pointing them out as I'd not noticed them!

I love the green patent and the pewter ones, couldn't decide but ended up going for the pewter as I think they will go with more and look nice even when they are a bit battered.

I wear my converse loads but love these being leather and a little bit smarter.

I used the £10 off code and £20 vouchers I had so they cost me £19 but I would pay £50 for leather shoes or trainers without hesitatation
