Heeeeelp!!!

Don't know if any one remembers my post about getting a dress for my SIL's wedding but we decided on the Wallis dress, the petite, greek style in purple.

Well I went to order it and they didn't have my size. So while we were on holiday I looked for one, which was very stressful with 3 boys and DH. Tried so many dresses on that I lost count. At one point in Fraser's I stood in the changing room while DH just bought me dress after dress. Nothing is fitting me properly. I am such an odd shape at the moment. In the end I asked an assistant in a shop to help me find a dress and one was chosen, DH said it was ok. I don't really like it and don't feel comfortable in it. Think it is too short and not really weddingey, if you know what I mean. But felt I had to get something.

Was faffing around on the computer last Monday and saw the Wallis dress was on the site in my size so Ordered it, it came Friday. I tried it on and thought it was OK (we don't have a floor length mirror. Finally managed to get DH to look at me in it last night and he says that it does me no favours.

So please can you help me find another dress. I am 4ft 11, apple shape and look 3 months pregnant (I'm not ) or can you help me find the right accessories for this dress
Republic dress

What shoes do I wear with it? what tights? bag? jewellry? cardigan/jacket?

I already have this shrug
wallis shrug

And a New Look one, the same but in grey with silver through it.

Sorry for the long post, but I am desperate and only have until Saturday to sort it.

I have this

Those shoes look fine. Charity shops for the bag is a great idea-you could get something statement to go with the bag & shoes are simple enough for that to be ok.

I know what it's like when you can't find a dress you like. I hope you enjoy yourself whatever you wear - feeling good is more than half the battle!

Well I got the shoes and they are gorgeous, the picture doesn't do them justice, real killer heels

I also bought a necklace and earings that haave moonstones which are gorgeous.

Couldn't find a grey bag. Afew silver but they looked a bit tacky. Could i go with a colour on the bag?

Been looking online but can't see anything I like so any pointers would be fantastic.

Shameless bump

Got to go out to the hairdressers but will check in when I get back.

I'll have a quick look now and see if I can see anything. What shops have you got near you? Maybe you still have time to get something on line.

Had a bit of a look and from your requirements so many of the nice ones will be far too small!

I think we have different tastes but I have found these though which I think might go with your colour scheme but add a bit of colour.

could be too purple in RL but is big and only £15

this is £18 and in teal and purple would add a splash of colour but might be too small

dearer but the kind of right colour and looks biggish

I'd take something like this

Maybe I am totally off the mark - I've just thought maybe you want a bag not a clutch. Worth having a look at ASOS anyway if so as they have some big grey/lilacy bags in for about £20 in mock croc etc.

Good luck anyway.

Thanks for linking to that site, it's brilliant!! I've just spent forever browsing around it.

Any comments on these two

Charcoal and big

Grey croc

Want something that I am going to be able to use everyday as I don't go out that much.

If you like the Nica one and have a TKMaxx nearby it might be worth having a look as they often do Nica bags. I think they may do bags cheap on line too

Monkeysmama, thanks for that, I didn't realise they did online.

Have ordered this one for next day delivery. Just hoping the colour is right.
