Was too straight for me, loved the style and the weight/lining but I looked like a boy and am an hourglass.

Went back sadly.

henryhuggins · 29/10/2009 20:44

traceybath · 29/10/2009 20:59

I have the navy version from last year and its still going strong despite having been in the washing machine countless times.

Hmmm, hate to strike a dissenting note, but I was rather disappointed with mine (it's the black one). No problems with sizing, and I like the detail and the buttons, but find the hood hugely annoying. It attaches in such a way that the collar HAS to be sticking up at the back of your neck when you want to put the hood up. I actually went back to the website to scrutinise the picture to make sure I hadn't got a duff one with the collar the wrong way round! But no, this seems to be intentional. Maybe it's just me (I hate things that don't lie smoothly and get rucked up) but I find it uncomfortable and bulky. A pain, esp. since I bought the coat specifically because it has a hood and I thought I wouldn't have to tote an umbrella around! Ho hum, back to the drawing-board....

MillyMollyMoo · 30/10/2009 09:33

I agree I am selling my cream one it was awful, funny shape and I felt like a smurf in it.

OlivingDeadMumsnet · 30/10/2009 09:36

Must say, I find it not very urban - live in the sticks and wear it fairly often but would never wear mine anywhere with pavements.

AlaskaNebraska · 30/10/2009 11:12

oh i wear mine to work when its raining

blak
havent depopped hood yet
