I love these boots. Should I?

Am kinda to be admiring Sienna Miller, but I do like these boots

Am early 30s, size 10-12 (pear-shaped) and much given to skinny jeans and knitted dresses/tunics in the winter. Will these boots look silly?

If I could wear something like them, does anywhere sell a version that doesn't cost 300 quid?

Have a look at this week's Grazia-there is a page of boots in a similar style, and not all mega-bucks

sherby · 02/09/2009 19:10

I like them

LetThemEatCake · 02/09/2009 19:22

i like them but I do think a longer boot is a good idea if you're at all pear-shaped

NoahFence · 02/09/2009 19:22

short boots like that are very in I see

River island has coem cool D M type ones

noddyholder · 02/09/2009 19:25

I like those

CybilLiberty · 02/09/2009 19:26

They may look a bit odd with tights? Gappy at ankle?

sherby · 02/09/2009 19:26

noah saw a sequin jacket in r island today and thought of you

hmm its wasn't this one but they have loads of sequin new arrival stuff in

NoahFence · 02/09/2009 19:26

oh i am so flattered

sherby · 02/09/2009 19:26

don't know why that went to home page

brimfull · 02/09/2009 19:29

Sunday Times style had something about short boots like that.I like them.

sherby · 02/09/2009 19:33

tbh I think anyone over 20 might look like a magician in it, but I like the waistcoat one

dogofpoints · 02/09/2009 19:41

They'r eok. Not very pizzazz

shoshe · 02/09/2009 19:46

Different boots but I have just bought these, so comfortable, and can be worn under long skirts as well.

stillfrazzled · 02/09/2009 19:56

Those are nice, shoshe, but I fancy something a bit more rugged.

Think I may invest in Grazia, and then wear proposed outfit to go shopping for them.

allaboutme · 02/09/2009 20:09

I have ordered the first ones from Next.
Love Sienna Millers ones and these Next ones look exactly like them in real life but without the studs

stillfrazzled · 02/09/2009 20:15

I can't make the Next links work! Can you tell me what pages of the boots section I should be looking on?

sherby · 02/09/2009 20:18

Im wanting some over the knee ones, but have quite skinny legs so not 100% yes

sherby · 02/09/2009 20:19

the flat ones not the heel ones

NoahFence · 02/09/2009 20:19

ok have got the next seuded long ones on order, the sludge workboots and tassel - we will see

sherby · 02/09/2009 20:21

might treat myself to those ones you linked to earlier

v nice

fishie · 02/09/2009 20:58

colleague bought sludge work boots today, the toes curl up a bit but they look good for the price. i quite like the long taupe version.

r&b boots are just so very bloody sloany.
