edam · 31/08/2009 11:41

ah. Suspect sequins are one of those things that you can only get away with in your teens or 20s.

tulpe · 31/08/2009 11:51

I really want to be able to wear a sequin jacket in that "shrunken" look, flung on casually over a skinny jeans and a t-shirt.

BUT I just know that I will catch sight of myself and think "Jane MacDonald does mutton" rather than "Kate Moss does Balmain"

NoahFence · 31/08/2009 11:52

this is the kind of thing you want

TheScatterGunApproach · 31/08/2009 18:46

fuck what happened there?

TheScatterGunApproach · 31/08/2009 18:47

My point stands though. Larvley bit o' mock layering you want. Larvley.

CybilLiberty · 31/08/2009 19:24

It runs the risk of looking a bit like a shrug IMO being cropped.. A proper jacket length would be better

BitOfFun · 31/08/2009 19:25

Lily Savage? You're in trouble if her legs are better

NoahFence · 01/09/2009 19:50

was htis what you were looking for?

TheScatterGunApproach · 02/09/2009 09:16

ahahaha

Seriously though, sequins = ageing gameshow host about town.

If that is the look you are channelling, I wish you well.

MrsBadger · 02/09/2009 09:25

no do not do it

if worn in daylight post 30 they reflect ligth unflatteringly onto wrinkles

skinny sequin scarf
corsage
sequin bag

[boringly sticks to accessories]
