I want to buy a new handbag for autumn, as may main day time bag, needs to be quite roomy.I'm vegetarian and don't buy leather bags and find it really difficult to find anything that looks good and doesn't just feel cheap and nasty. My last year's Mine West bag has not worn very well, and the straps are falling to pieces, despite the fact it cost over £60. Any ideas?

I love Nica bags!!!

There is also Fiorelli.

There are actulaly loads of funky non-leather bags, but I do think Nine West make the most practical.

trawl all the charity shops.
I got a fabric bag off a market stall for £5.

I'm vegan and so have the same problem.
Nearly bought this warehouse bag but went for a lovely studded slouchy bag in River Island (sorry can't link to RI)
Also primark and new look do lots of non-leather

I bought a lovely one from La Redoute a couple of years ago although not sure whether they have any at the moment
