So if I Cross Ankle Strap these shoes for a black tie do, which bag should I get?

I'm not sure which dress I'm going to wear, it'll be either a short silk Whistles dress with a mandarin collar, or a long Coast slim black dress with a cowl front and a long slit on the leg. I'll be wearing black tights with either.

I always struggle with bags for black tie though.

Any suggestions?
