How can I get wavy hair ?

Oh how I wish I had lovely wavy hair, just like Cheryl Cole.
But I haven't!
Does anyone use tongs or rollers?
Which ones are best ?

Going out in the rain works for me

If you need instant results and have some time on your hands use tongs.

If you have less time short-term, but can stay in the house for a while, use velcro rollers on damp hair and leave in for a couple of hours and give them a blast with hairspray and a hairdryer before you unroll.

See if you have any natural curl by scrunching mousse into wet hair and letting it dry naturally (no brushing allowed).

You can also make curls with straighteners if you have any with realtively narrow blades. (I know they're not blades but I can't remember what the metal bits are called). Search on youtube for video instructions.
