Bio oil for face - bad idea?

Have just run out of night cream and discovered that I have a bottle of bio oil kicking around that I bought to massage into my CS scar (not that it helps, of course). Would it be okay to use this on my face at night instead of night cream or is this a bad idea? I have normal skin and am in my late thirties.

Sorry, should have been more precise, would it be a bad idea in that it might be too oily, clog up pores, cause acne?

I wouldn't leave it on as a nigth cream unless your skin is usu very dry - would work well as a cleanser though

the waitrose baby bottom butter is a passable night cream for dry skin

NB the world won't end if you use day cream at nigth till you can get to the shops

I use this on my face now and again, but I have very dry skin.

Thanks, sounds like I'll have to buy something new after all. Was hoping I wouldn't need to...

I use it as a facial moisturiser and it's fine.

It says on the leaflet that comes with it that you can use it on your face.
I have done in the past when I want to really moisturise my skin

I use it daily on my face, and have had no problem.
