Was wondering if any mnetters have had a medium or deep chemical face peel?
The reason I ask is because I have rosacea and suffer with other types of acne and have tried all sorts of things from antibiotics, to IPL, in consulation with my dermatologist (private not nhs). My dermatologist feels that i would benefit from having a consultation with a plastic surgeon re a chemical peel. The other treatments i have tried (esp IPL and the antibiotics) do have an effect but this is only temporary.
I don't know much about these types of peels but understand that recovery time can be weeks even before you leave the house! Was it worth it the pain and recovery? Oh, and of course the cost!
