Foundations that change to your skin tone

I use the Boots No 7 Intelligent foundation that claims to change to your skin tone and not have any nasty tide marks - but often wondered how this can be - anyone understand how it works or is it a marketing ploy

I've often wondered this, Ellerman, but as you use it, surely you know if it works or not? Do you have any tide marks? If not, it's not a marketing ploy I guess...

I use it too and love it, although it's not 100% perfect. No idea how it works though... anyone?
