I look haggard - help!

That's it really. My skin looks awful, dry and dull and I have small spots around my mouth and chin. I just look tired and grim.

What can I do to get a bit of glow and sparkle back? I eat fairly well, but don't drink enough water. I get as much sleep as I can manage and walk about an hour a day.

Any wonder products or supplements that I can use? I'm 32 but I reckon I look about 45 today.

Go for regular facials and get a good skin care routine in place.

You must drink lots of water and eat well too.

Have you tried Imedeen supplements. They're pricey but after a month or two you can really see a difference. Also, try eating more of the so called 'superfoods' such as salmon, blueberries also drinking loads of water etc...

When I make an effort to do the above and when I can afford Imedeen, I can really see an improvement.

spots on chin and mouth usually mean it's hormonal.

exfoliate exfoliate

Thanks for the tips. Will definitely try and increase my water consumption and will look at the Imedeen too.

I exfoliate every day but it doesn't seem to do any good. Although, if I didn't I might look even worse!

Long term - use the oil cleansing method to get rid of small spots (however it sometimes gets worse before it gets better!) - see the MASSIVE oil cleansing thread here on MN!

Short term - try using a face moisturiser with self tan included every day - I've just posted on another thread about Olay Complete Care Everyday Sunshine - I'm using the day and night versions. Skin has never looked better - the small amount of tan makes skin look glowy, healthy and 'rested'. It's the fastest way to looking healthy - especially covers up dark undereye circles and make eyes look brighter and whiter!
